As Andy306 had the only French car at the time of FCS 2004, it was decided that the only way to get attention for the club would be to enter his car into the trade area (along with Foxy’s CRX). The show comprised of massive turnouts from every French car owner’s club, with the show being all but taken over by the Peugeot GTi Autosport Club and the Saxo Sports Club.
The trade stands had to offer some of the best cars in the country, from Ecosse demo cars to Performance GTi feature cars. The weather was outstanding and a lot of the day was spent enjoying the weather just as much as the cars. Later on in the day bmwgirlie managed to sneak her car onto the stand, along with MANTON’s saxo, so we ended up with 4 cars in total on a stand only really big enough for one (you gotta make the most of your money!!)
All in all a good day out, with some very special cars and fantastic weather, just a shame it clashes with Modified Nationals in 2005.
